Hopkins Hall Gallery, The Ohio State University, 128 North Oval Mall, Columbus, OH 43210

FREE ... NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
Reception: Thursday, July 23, 3-4PM

In this intensive sketchbook workshop led by Theodore Zanardelli, participants will examine the evolution and devolution of images and the malleable nature of line, form, and space. Within the sketchbook format, participants will compose images using a variety of methods in order to create an ever-changing interplay from page to page. In this workshop and exhibition, the "sketchbook" will be explored as a finished work, a meditative process, a tool for mediation, and an instrument for investigating what is seen.

Throughout the course of the workshop, participants will further develop the skills to transition from observation, to sketching, to creating a fully developed conceptual work. Participation during every daily activity is not required.
